KETO Program Benefits


Our ketogenic diet program (KETO for short) is a high-fat, adequate-protein and a low-carbohydrate diet that forces the body to burn more fats than carbohydrates. Normally, in a typical carbohydrate dense, American diet, the carbs are converted into glucose and used for energy and what can't be used turns into fat.  When you change the dynamics of your daily food intake and lower the carbohydrates, the body starts looking for another source of energy. Without an abundance of carbs present, the body naturally starts producing ketones to replace carbohydrates as your body's main energy source. Meaning you're running on and burning fat instead of carbs. This state is called ketosis.

Weight Loss

Our KETO program essentially uses your body's fat reserves as an energy source, so there will be some obvious weight loss benefits. Once in ketosis, your insulin (fat storing hormone) levels will drop dramatically turning your body into a fat-burning machine!

Blood Sugar and
Insulin Resistance

Once your body enters into a state of ketosis, your blood sugar levels will start to lower due to the changes you've made with your food intake. Fewer carbohydrates equates to less sugar, which a good thing! Studies have shown, that incorporating a ketogenic diet is more effective in managing insulin resistance and preventing diabetes when compared to other low-calorie diets.

Mental Focus

Looking to increase your mental focus and performance? Ketones are a great source of fuel for the brain. When you lower your carb intake, you avoid the spikes in blood sugar and lessen brain fog. Clients have reported better concentration and memory recall after starting the program.

Blood Pressure

Being overweight or obese increases your risk of developing high blood pressure. In fact, your blood pressure rises as your body weight increases. Losing even 10 pounds can lower your blood pressure substantially along with your risks for heart disease. As you lose weight, your medical provider will make the necessary dosage adjustments needed. 

Reduced Inflamation

Doctors agree, that consuming a diet of high carbs can cause substantial inflammation within the body. Stiff joints, achy muscles, migraines, asthma and PMS symptoms are common when you consume a carb dense and not a nutrient dense diet. This can lead to you giving up your favorite pastimes such as golf, gardening, or other activities.


By changing your main fuel source from sugar to burning fat, you will feel more energized during the day without the peaks and valleys typically associated with a carb dense diet. Fats are shown to be the most effective molecule to burn as fuel.

Macro Tracking Drives Success

Weight loss and wellness is not a one size fits all process. Working with your medical provider and assigned mentor, to dial in your food intake will assist you in optimizing your weight loss and wellness success. Tracking these important macros (carb's, protein's and fats) will be crucial to setting up the accountability necessary to keep you in ketosis.

The program materials included in our KETO program are in an electronic format, unlike our Bella Nutra lifestyles program.
